More news on the player movement front today. In good news, Niall McCabe signed a new contract with Louisville City, keeping him with the club likely through 2020. Per usual, the actual term of the contract wasn’t released, nor was his compensation. However, it’s nice having the club’s leader in appearances return, especially after his stellar end to the 2018 campaign.

In not so good news, Nipun Chopra reported yesterday that Ilija Ilic had reached a deal with Indy Eleven for 2019 and probably beyond. I’m a little sad about this but if it means good things for Ilija and his suddenly growing family then I’m happy for him. The Serb had the most appearances, goals and assists of his LouCity career in 2018 and was certainly ripe for a new and improved deal.
