It’s the last day of winter, y’all. The spring equinox is almost upon us. Every day that passes, the sun rises sooner. My dogs’ collars jingle a little earlier in their eagerness to wake me up, go outside and then immediately demand to come back inside. If I can ever get my 2 year old to sleep an entire night in her own bed, I’ll finally be able to take those mutts for a walk.
Spring is just about sprung. And, for the last season hopefully ever, that means soccer at Slugger. Yeah, it also means cleaning and basketball tournaments and allergies and fish frys and all that, but mostly the soccer thing. It’s becoming a part of your ritual. EMBRACE IT. BE AT SLUGGER ON SATURDAY. LEAN INTO YOUR HEART’S DEEPEST DESIRE AND GO TO THE SOCCER.
