If you were watching this space for new Louisville City player news, keep watching, cuz it ain’t here yet. The club hosted their “open” tryout at King Louie on Saturday in some of the worst weather you could dream up, but no news is yet in the offing. I say “open” because you still had to pay a fee to get a look from the coaching staff. No, it wasn’t invite only, and yes, lots of USL clubs do this. It’s fine; it’s how we got Kyle Smith.
Anyway, we may not hear much, if anything, about roster additions until after the team gets back from Florida in about a month, less a few days. THE AGONY! In the meantime, have some United Soccer Links:
- We’d likely never play them, but Boise, ID might be the latest Championship expansion city.
- MLS perpetual bridesmaid Sacramento finally got themselves a REALLY rich owner instead of just a VERY rich one.
- El Paso Locomotive revealed their 2019 kits and, well, they’re definitely shirts.
