I’m running out of things to pontificate on this week, so dig into these links instead:
- Ottawa’s Kevin Oliveira and Nana Attakora both got three games for the red cards they picked up in last week’s game at Slugger. If the Fury’s playoff chances weren’t sunk before, they probably are now, losing a key defender and their leading (by far) chance creator.
- In case you still cared, Philadelphia Union lost the Open Cup final again, this time to Houston Dynamo by a pretty wide margin, 3-0 in Houston last night.
- Looks like Loudoun United won’t be playing in Loudoun County for a good chunk of its inaugural season in 2019. The bonus, though, is that Louisville City might get to play at Audi Field, which is pretty nice.
- UofL’s men beat Georgetown 2-1 on Tuesday night. Kentucky men’s soccer remains undefeated, beating ETSU 3-0 last night.
- Not everyone can say they once had a seal slap them in the face with an octopus that it was eating.
