Happy Thurby! Sorry about no Purple Press yesterday. I couldn’t come up with anything to rail on about. There wasn’t much in the way of links, either, aside from Cam Lancaster making USL Team of the Week – congrats, Cam!

So, here we are. It’s Thursday. Some giant floating museum exhibits trawled up and down the river last night. One of them did it faster than the other; no one knows or cares which. Today’s the Pegasus Parade – there’s still time to march with the Coopers if you’re interested! Email us at thecooperslouisville@gmail.com! Remember when Willard Scott was an actual celebrity attraction that people wanted to see ride down Broadway in a convertible? I do!

Of course, there are horse races today, and tomorrow, and forever ad infinitum. If you’ve got kids in school in Jefferson County, they’re off tomorrow, so today is like a de facto Friday, anyway. No one in Louisville works on Oaks Day!

I can’t come up with much else to talk about because my editor, an 18 month old child, has decided I need to stop typing and pay attention to whatever she’s doing.
