There’s actual good soccer content that’s worth reading in the links today, so I won’t bore you with something that has nothing to do with anything. Check it out:
- James O’Connor finally made Coach of the Month
- The Chicago USL project might actually have legs, as Cubs owner Tom Ricketts has expressed interest in buying the proposed north side team.
- Long Island Rough Riders beat Kingston Stockade 6-3 in their first round US Open Cup match last night. That means Louisville City will host the Rough Riders at Woehrle Field next Wednesday (phew!).
UPDATE: I was wrong about the venue, they’ll play the Round 2 USOC match at Lynn Stadium next Wednesday. Yay!
