Is today the day we hear about a new coach? Maybe! Maybe not! I don’t have time to worry about that today because I’m so hyped for the Louisville-Indianapolis Proximity Association Football Contest this weekend. I know you are, too. Who could think about anything other than the USL’s biggest, most storied, most important rivalry? We are at war with Indianapolis, we have always been at war with Indianapolis. They won’t be so Midwestern-Nice when they get their asses kicked in the LIPAFC, let me tell you. So much history, hatred and vitriol attached to the LIPAFC that it transcends silly terrestrial trophies. The winner of that matchup wins the hearts and minds of the USL, which is way better. LIPAFC!
- Justin Sayers at the C-J says there’s still no announcement on a coach, but one could be coming soon.
- USLD3 announced there would be a new team in Chattanooga in 2019. Problem is, Chattanoogans already have a favorite team, and no one’s taking the news particularly well.
- Swans don’t take kindly to being judged.
