Happy Independence Day! It’s a holiday. Most people aren’t on the internet on holidays. As such, I won’t regale you with either of my story ideas today. One was a discussion about statistics concerning idiocy combined with explosives, which is pretty relevant on a day like today. The other was a stream-of-consciousness op-ed about what the hell we’re gonna do about finding a new coach capable of leading the entire soccer side of Louisville City’s org chart and also somehow keeping the team afloat through the end of the season such that I don’t want to jump off the Big Four Bridge. Today’s a day to celebrate our country’s liberation from the dreaded English that we hate hate hate so much (right?), not to wallow in insecurity. We can start that again tomorrow. PRETTY SPLOSIONS!
