We’re creeping ever closer to the start of the actual season, y’all. Louisville City plays Nashville down in Bradenton tomorrow afternoon, but still no word on whether the match will be streamed. I’m guessing not unless some bearded and bespectacled communications person decides to Periscope the whole thing. HINT HINT SCOTT STEWART.
In real life, Nashville’s gonna be pretty tough this season. As you know, they chose the tried and true Cincinnati “if you can’t beat them, buy their best players” formula and picked up Cam Lancaster. They also added former CD Guadalajara forward Daniel Rios, and those guys will likely be getting service from the always dangerous and syncopated Lebo Moloto and Ropapa Mensah. Lots to learn tomorrow!
As for what we can learn today, have some UNITED SOCCER LINKS:
- You’ll never guess where Pittsburgh’s latest signee used to play (and I don’t mean St. Louis)
- Looks like Andrew Gutman will end up in USL after all, but with Charlotte instead of Nashville.
- Louisville City confirmed the loan of goalkeeper Ben Lundt from Cincinnati; more on him later today.
