It’s hot outside. Like, I turned on the AC at my office yesterday afternoon hot. Louisville has always had crazy weather – remember it snowed on Saturday? And now I’m checking to see if I have a clean pair of shorts and updating GolfNow for afternoon tee times. No, my partners do not read this web page.
Our various local celebrity weathermen and weatherwomen have thusly been freaking out all day about weather patterns.
The WPC is absolutely throwing down the gauntlet with rain over the next 7 days. They have over 5″ of rain for #Louisville in the next week. Up to 6″ in our NW counties. pic.twitter.com/sqDnVUSrL9

Young Forest W for Next Great Meteorologist, IMO. On to the soccer:
- Eintracht Frankfurt and RB Leipzig played a hilarious match yesterday, complete with a 15 minute delay to remove hundreds of tennis balls from the pitch. Fans were protesting moving the match to Monday to accommodate a tennis tournament.
- Charlotte Independence’s most hirsute and hateable midfielder Enzo Martinez is making the jump to MLS.
- Wigan Athletic, presently in England’s League One, beat Manchester City in the FA Cup yesterday. The Magic of the Cup, indeed.
- FC Cincy signed another guy yesterday, Irishman Richie Ryan. Cool.
- Perhaps more interesting, though is Indy XI’s new striker Jack McInerney. Jack Mac is now easily the most recognizable striker in the league not named Didier Drogba, assuming he’s still playing.
