It’s April Fools’ Day! In a simpler time on the internet, this would be a day full of pranks, frivolity, and an avalanche of fake news. Today, however is not that day.

League 2 Update

The Northwest Division of USL League 2 completely pulled out of the 2020 competition, but LouCity wouldn’t have played them anyway. However, if college seasons aren’t delayed, the question of whether many League 2 teams can even put a roster together gets more problematic.

Most League 2 teams are made up of college players looking for some games before the college season starts. Most college players have to report to their summer camps in July because the season starts in August. If the League 2 season doesn’t start until June (and it might not!) it’s hard to imagine having an entire season in just one month. We’ll keep you posted.
