Sorry for missing the Purple Press yesterday! Despite working from home, I’ve found I have a whole lot less free time lately. Plus, y’all didn’t miss a whole lot over the weekend.

• The USL eCup Rocket League Tournament starts today! Louisville City’s match against Tacoma Defiance is at 3 pm on twitch.tv and features Sean Totsch and Antoine Hoppenot on the sticks!
• John Hackworth made an appearance on the 3 Honest Lads podcast last night and provided commentary for City’s 1-1 away draw at Tampa Bay last season.
• In even more positive news, USL League Two announced its intention to ride things out and make sure they feature a season in 2020. That really is good news.
• NWSL Louisville announced some new additions to its academy coaching staff! There are some truly impressive names on that list.
• Finally, a MUST READ Tim Sullivan interview with Brad Estes on what’s going on with Soccer Holdings during the COVID-19 shutdown.
