Have you been keeping up with Louisville City social media lately? If you have, you’d know that the team reported for training last Thursday. They’ve been getting after it in earnest for two-a-days down at Spalding University’s new soccer complex down on 8th Street ever since. Apparently there are some trialists down there, too!
Between that and all the photos that fans and local news outlets have been posting of their stadium tours, you can almost taste the season’s arrival! And yet, alas, unless you’re doing some traveling, we won’t be able to experience either in their full froth until April 11.
Sorry to be a downer! Here’s some news to improve your mood:
- Dearly departed Nashville SC’s stadium project has apparently hit some speed bumps.
- Jacksonville Armada’s owner just completed a land deal, likely to be used to build a stadium. That doesn’t mean they’re changing leagues, but it’s something worth keeping an eye on.
Have a great day!
