It’s gonna be hard to beat the newsbomb that dropped yesterday about James O’Connor. In fact, given the paucity of other news that was released on Monday, it’s probably futile to try. But try we must!

• One-time USMNT wunderkind Andrew Carleton’s second season at Atlanta United went…poorly, so it’s rumored he’ll be loaned to a place with next to no nightlife, Indianapolis, Indiana.
• Long-time Battery midfielder Dante Marini is returning for his 78th season in the Holy City.
• Veteran center back Zach Carroll will be joining Memphis 901 for 2020. Heaven knows they’ll need him.
