November 2023 Minutes:

Roll call:

Tifo/Banners:

Couldn’t get things together this year, not enough volunteers. Will want to do a 10-year next season to support and celebrate the team’s anniversary. John and Katie want to redo a lot of the banners that we have. Also need to go through old tifo and banners and see what we can paint over and what we want to keep.

Holiday Party/December Board meeting

Want to have enough time for nominations and elections beforehand
Board members have events on 15th already, ask in Discord board channel regarding Sunday the 17th. Molly’s or 4-Pegs.

Elections:

1 week of nominations
1 week of voting with mid-week social and email reminders
Positions: all officers, 3 at large positions available
Open nominations on Sunday the 26th through 2nd
Election – 4th-10th

2024 Membership Perks:

*Suggested to not do open voting. Let Board pick the scarf to save time as the year is growing close
*Want to figure out recurring memberships ASAP so we can get memberships open and signed up before EOY. Square can do it, but we probably need a new account that doesn’t have old board members personal names on it. Bryan will sign up for new account tonight/tomorrow? Old Square account that we’ve been using still has a number of problems due to
* Scarf submissions to close on December 2nd.
* Glenn asking about tiered memberships for future years. Maybe a kid’s membership at a $5 price point that gives stickers, more of a gameday seller. Maybe $2 cost for a $5 membership

2023 Outstanding Memberships:

* If anyone wants to take box to Molly’s or something for pickup, can do.
* Let people know they could pick up outstanding stuff at Holiday Party
* Glenn suggestion: follow up on social media to let people know a email went out

KRM Drive:

* Has been shared in October, retweeted/reposted, new post last night on Nov. 14th
* Jess to email Jonathan Litner and Margo regarding spreading the word
* To drop off stuff on Mondnay December 11th @ 2pm. At 15th street warehouse
* Herman to post on FB about drive

Priority needs for 2024:

* Engagement/Build Membership
* Member retention –
** Auto-renew memberships
** Game-specific 1” pins
** Lots of members asked about buttons/pins instead of coins
** Player cards, signed here and there for charity
* Asset Audit
** Need to actually know what all the Coopers have
** Need to make sure board members are in possession of those items
* Continue to work out bank info
** First National – still can’t get $470 out of it because it’s still under Tom Farmer’s name
** Look into opening new Square account as we’ve been fighting to get money out of that all year and it’s under Derek’s name, Square wouldn’t transfer account.
** With Square, no monthly fee for subscription payments.
* Angel’s Share – need to make this more often. Work with Jeffery as he has knowledge and contacts in the non-profit sector.
