A local architect spearheading discussions about relocating a minor-league professional soccer franchise to Louisville says he needs to reach a decision by the end of this week on whether there’s enough local backing to support a team.
Wayne Estopinal, who is a minority owner in the Orlando City Soccer Club and lives in Louisville, has asked to meet for a second time with Mayor Greg Fischer to discuss fielding a United Soccer Leagues Professional Division club at city-owned Louisville Slugger Field.
