The Keys to the Game:

New York Red Bulls II:

The Baby Bulls are coming off a 1-0 victory over Torontwo. The keys for New York are to first continue their run of solid form. Although they lost their previous game, their last two performances looked promising.

My second key is find a rhythm to the game. When they get into a rhythm they look very threatening. That will need to continue at Slugger Field if they want to get a win.

The final key is going to be finding a way to get Brandon Allen (Allen was transferred to Minnesota United two weeks ago) and Vincent Benzecourt involved as much as possible in the attack. They have combined for 15 goals and assisted 10 goals (The team has scored 28 goals total. So do the math.) These 2 have to get involved for NYRB2 to get a result at Slugger.

Louisville City:

LouCity is coming off a Kings Cup victory and a 4-1 rout of St Louis FC. For City, the keys are fairly simple. First, continue to play hard-nosed defense. Defense has been a big piece of the Louisville City pie, giving up minimal goals (with a couple exceptions).

The second key will be to continue to run the flanks and attack with purpose. Finally the last key is going to play NYRB2 like you did in their stadium. This is another must-win game for all 3 points as LCFC needs to continue to close the gap. 

Prediction: Louisville City 1-0 New York Red Bulls II

I think City gets this one, but just barely. If Louisville can shut down their dynamic duo solo of Allen and Bezecourt I do not see a reason we cannot get the W here. You had best be there or you’ll miss another great game of USL action. COME ON YOU BOYS IN PURPLE!!!
