April 6th, 2022 saw the first meeting of Louisville City and the Chattanooga Red Wolves as part of the 2022 US Open Cup. Lou City won the match 1-0 thanks to a Wilson Harris goal in the 75th minute, knocking out the Red Wolves and progressing to the third round of Open Cup play against St. Louis City 2.
Working in partnership with other supporters groups, the Louisville Coopers will organize and support professional soccer in Louisville, grow community passion for professional soccer, and support the growth of the game through both social and charitable endeavors.
