Treasury Update – Nick Knutson

As of 30 minutes before the meeting, $4021.15 is our bank balance.
We have collected $700 for memberships in March.
$1400 income YTD in 2021.
$755 out this month for tifos, which is 75% of our $1000 budgeted amount.
Q4 2020 sales and use tax was $112.
We had penalties for not filing on time and not paying on time. Original amount was around $90.
We split a sewing machine with the Legion, each owing John Harper $90.

Smoke Purchases

Purchase $500 worth of smoke for our general use.

Membership Update – Matt Owens

  • Membership count: 54
  • 48 kits have been delivered or mailed.
  • The Public House coin promo is ready. I need to get it to Patrick Arkenberg.
  • Discussion of a table for merch and memberships. COVID makes this dubious. A sign seems like a safer alternative. Herman will organize getting people’s pictures for a poster. Ken will run it by the club.

Jorge informed us that Facebook and other Social Media are integrated with WordPress.

Bylaws and Mission Statement Update

Minimal changes since the version from Feb 10.
Lower members’ voting age to 16.
Board members must be 18 at the time of becoming seated (Jan 1 or Jul 1).

To be official for Racing or not?

It has little impact on our game-day activities.
After discussion, we decided to remain unofficial and let the Legion take the lead.

Legion wants to do tifo prep on April 8. We should get someone there to assist as needed.

The new club Liaison is Lauren Schuster. She starts March 11.

Angel’s Share – Benton Newman

  • Signed ball raffle is at 37 individual purchases and approx. $480.
  • It runs through the end of the month.
  • Who is the contact for social media posts for Angel’s Share? Mathew Ballard (p) and Brianna Roby (s).
  • Can we add an Angel’s Share page to the website? Yes, but Benton will need support.
  • Print on demand shop to raise funds for Angel’s Share – Benton is working with Bryan Volz to get Printify set up. Michelle has the Angel’s Share logo.
  • Local Artist Partnership: Benton has looked at a Gallery in NuLu and would like to get some local art featured in charity offerings. We can offer to support an artist’s favorite charity with it.
  • Prideraiser for April: For every Racing goal in April, people can set a donation amount to go to a selected charity. Lavender Legion and LouCity Ladies are also interested.

Tifo process – Ken Luther

The TIFO process has started being led by John and Katie Harper. We have purchased enough material for 4 TIFOs and are organized to sew and sketch Saturday (March 6th) at the Mellwood Arts Center starting at 0900. One TIFO will go towards Racing FC and we have been working with the Lavender Legion. We also want to start a second for the first City game ~April 23rd. Happy to host board members who want to learn the process and we will of course be adhering to social distancing and masking protocols. We are looking for design ideas for the City TIFO, so if you have any ideas, please let me of John Harper know before this Saturday otherwise I’m going to design it and it will likely be something punk rock with skulls and stuff.

Songs and music – Ken Luther

We need a refresh on songs, we also need songs for Racing. In addition, we need leadership for the City drumline. Looks like we have Racing covered with Patrick A and Herman (Thanks). Please think about how we can be prepared once the seasons start and if you have any ideas yourself, know of musically oriented people, and know of people who want to be Capo’s, please let me know.

Tailgate

We have asked what, if anything, will be allowed so we can get the work out.
Ken will reach out to Ten 20. Herman, Nick, Benton, and Matt will assist.
Odeon is another we need to talk to.

Chattanooga

Jeremy A. from the St. Louligans is now the GM for Chattanooga FC.
He wants us to hype the preseason game on April 3.
Ken asked him the usual away game questions.
We will get the information out.

Communications:

Mathew and Brianna have already met and discussed some of this.
Mathew will put together some social media guidelines.

2021 Coopers’ Kit for April

Matt and Brian Davis have the design ready.
Have it ready to advertise by the beginning of April.

Herman will work with Matt Dalton to get the format and set this up.
Matt Owens will help Herman set up the list.

Shirts

Capo/Drummer/Board Member shirts will be available through Dirty
Tease again.
It is done on an individual basis through Dirty Tease.
