2016 Year In Review:
- Carry over plan to convert to 501(c) status
- Chair recognized Cooper Ken Luther for transitional advice:
- Enter into long term partnerships with area business with caution. Be sure to record all agreements.
- Were not able to focus/agree upon a small batch t-shirt design in 2016
- Failed to always provide adequate advanced notice of events to members
- Be aware that $1.00 pin for each participant is required for St. Patrick’s Day Parade
Treasurer’s Report:
- Oct. ’16 – $4,500 liquid assets
- Nov. ’16 – $1,400 liquid assets

Membership & Merchandise:
- 93 members (as of Jan. 8) for 2017. Outpaces last year’s numbers for same time of year.
- 25% of 2017 members are new to The Coopers
- Last year’s membership/merchandise sales totaled approximately $9,000
- 2015 membership of approximately 450 fell to 350 by EOY 2016

- President requests a report of any Coopers equipment in any board members’ possession:

- Matt Owens has a set of drums (not the barrel drums)
Social Media:
- Coopers social media reach has broadened significantly
- Secretary will be granted access to all social media accounts
- Need to complete security reset for Twitter
- Podcast
- Approximately 131 unique regular listeners
- The podcast with John Neace was broadcast in a WHAS 11 story
- Timothy Clark will remain as primary host. Brian Davis and Taylor Sorrels will remain as key hosts.
- As Tom Farmer is now President we need to begin looking for someone to take over the podcast production job. Technical ability and time are major factors.

CR 17.0001 – The president and vice-president shall be delegated the authority to negotiate with area pub business partners. Proposed agreements will be written up and presented to the full board prior to approval.

CR 17.0002 – The president and vice-president shall be delegated the authority to negotiate with a specified list of shirt and sign providers, to include Dirty Tease and Premier Sign & Design. Proposed agreements will be written up and presented to the full board prior to approval.

CR 17.0003 – The president and vice-president shall be delegated the authority to negotiate with a specified list of sound equipment providers, to include Music-Go-Round and Doo Wop Shop. Proposed agreements will be written up and presented to the full board prior to approval.

CR 17.0004 – The president and vice-president shall be delegated the authority to negotiate with Mini-Cooper of Louisville in an attempt to acquire funding for merchandise geared towards younger members. Proposed agreements will be written up and presented to the full board prior to approval.

CR 17.0005 – The Coopers will form a team and participate as a group in the 2017 Special Olympics Kentucky Polar Plunge to be held on Feb. 25.

CR 17.0007 – The president and vice-president will reach out to the front office in regards to selling merchandise on the concourse at home matches. The number of matches at which Coopers merchandise will be sold will be determined at a later date should the club approve. It is subsequently resolved that Coopers merchandise will be offered at the SG tailgate location throughout the season.

CR 17.0008 – Rick Jones (member-at-large) is hereby granted the title and role of Tailgate Ambassador, with authority to coordinate with the various SGs and independent supporters on tailgate activities.

Motion tabled on start location of March to the Match. Recommendation entered and agreed upon for general membership survey to determine member opinion.
Motion tabled for trademark of Coopers logos until further information is acquired by the president.
CR 17.0009 – Brian Volz is hereby granted the title and role of Web Coordinator, with authority to maintain The Coopers website in concert with the president and editor-in-chief.
