First off, my apologies for the lack of Angel’s Share posts as of late! Life happens. Anyways, I am happy to report out on the August initiative focused on Pets4Life. Several donations were made in both monetary form as well as requested supplies. Thank you to all who contributed to help our animal friends in Louisville! As you might recall, there was a giveaway tied to participation. Melinda Feldman is the winner of the signed ball!
As far as current initiatives go, several things are happening concurrently that you should support!
- First, there is Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s “Light the Night”. Soccer Holdings has created a team and is collecting donations (on top of their initial $1000 commitment). The (virtual) event is on 10/21 so act quickly and contribute what you can here!
- Next is some more great work from the ever-active LouCityLadies! They are selling shirts to benefit Shirley’s Way, an organization focused on finical support for those undergoing cancer treatment. Help this fine group out in their effort to help those battling cancer.
- Dare To Care has been a group that the Racing Louisville players have assisted earlier this year but they are not done supporting them! They are again helping their cause by collecting non-perishable foods at the team store! During your next trip to the grocery, grab some extras so you help those in need.
- And finally, there is the NWSL Players Association. I don’t need to rehash all the turmoil and issues the NWSL players have been through on numerous fronts. Supporting the NWSLPA will help the organization in their efforts to create change in the league and cultivate a safe and fair working environment for the athletes. You can assist them by donating via their website.
