Volunteers are the lifeblood of any supporters group. There are scarfs to be made, tifos to be painted, charity efforts to be managed, and conversations that need to be had with the club’s front office that need supporter representation. As 2021 approaches its end, it’s time for the Coopers to look forward to 2022 and find those that will lead the organization. If you have ever wanted to get more involved, here is your chance. No experience is required to run for the open roles, which include the President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, and Board Members At Large (x4). Article 3 of the bylaws will give you an idea of what to expect from each role. To be considered, please email your nomination containing the following to thecooperslouisville@louisvillecoopers.com:
- Your name
- A photo of yourself (so voters can recognize you)
- The position you are running for
- A brief description of yourself and why you believe you would be a good fit
Please have your nomination submitted no later than EOD 12/07/2021. If you have questions, don’t hesitate to reach out. Just because you have not been involved in the past doesn’t mean you can’t start now! If you love Louisville soccer and appreciate the atmosphere and support the organization provides, please consider stepping up to serve as a leader and help shape the group for the 2022 season.
