WATCH: With us at Against the Grain! They have great beer! They sponsor our supporters section at Slugger Field! They have beards and a Wahl trimmers commercial on TV, but aren’t jerks about it! You’ll love it! But if you can’t make it you somehow got roped into watching the Great Steamboat Race again, you can catch the action on YouTube here:

WHO, AGAIN? We posted our match preview for this one yesterday, so click here if you haven’t checked it out yet. A quick recap: Raheem Edwards = good, mostly everyone else = meh. The Dirty River Kings’s lineup should be somewhat fluid once more thanks to lots of squad rotation during this glut of games in the calendar. Yay!

STATISTICAL COMPARISONS OF DUBIOUS VALIDITY: This one isn’t as fun as most of these are, but it’s true: Toronto has scored first in each of its first two home games of the season, while Louisville has conceded the first goal in four of its seven games so far. STOP THAT.

Here’s a better one: Louisville City’s total shot ratio, which isn’t a totally useless statistic, is .601, while Toronto’s is .350. That’s pretty good for us, and very bad for them!

LEAD PIPE LOCK PREDICTIONS: Louisville’s back four will have their hands full with Raheem Edwards, but if Team White and Gold or Blue and Black manages to own the midfield, it won’t matter much. Look for a 0-2 Louisville City win and three points. Did I predict that yesterday? I don’t remember, and I’m not going to check!

COME ON, CITY!
