WHO: St. Louis FC, 3-2-2, 11 points, 4th place Western Conference

WHAT: A USL match, Louisville’s first against a Western Conference team, and Leg 1 of this year’s Fleur de Lis Derby for the Kings’ Cup!

WHEN: Saturday, May 14, 2016, 7:30 p.m.

WHERE: Slugger Field, 401 E. Main Street, BridgeConstructionville, USA, 40202

WATCH: At Slugger Field! With us! Or with someone else! As long as you’re there! But if you can’t make it because you’re glued to your Twitter feed trying to find out where Zlatan’s going next season, you can watch it here:

WHO, AGAIN? We know them we love/hate them, we somehow have a 1-2-1 record against them despite being way better. Taylor H.’s preview got you ready on Thursday, so go read it if you haven’t already. Taylor makes a lot of the STL defense, and he probably should since they’ve been outshot by almost 50%. Let’s get this derby started out right and take these green goons to the woodshed.

STATISTICAL COMPARISONS OF DUBIOUS VALIDITY: To be honest, there’s not a lot of difference between these guys and us, other than City’s got 16 goals on the season and St. Louis has 9. Seven goals seems like a lot. Let’s go with that.

AIRTIGHT COMPARTMENTAL PREDICITONS: Louisville City’s had a nice little break to get rested, and should go into this game ready to go. St. Louis is on a nice little run of form themselves, winning their last two matches and three straight clean sheets. However, they’re without one of their best players in Chad Bond, so you have to think their attack will be slightly blunted in this game as long as City’s awake for the first fifteen minutes. I’m feeling a 3-1 win, featuring a Hoff-Man brace.

COME ON, CITY!
